I think the ceramic subs , with the current size, looks absolute best on original bracelet or the rubber straps. unless your wrist is like 8". The lugs are too wide to do leather and other straps well. The best part about straps is the moment you put your bracelet back on. The thin lugs of the older Submariners, and lugholes really make them well-suited (and comparably much better suited than modern Subs) to straps - leather, natos, canvas and rubber.
