YSL gives you amazing full leather bags. Pebbled textured leather will hold up best compared to lamb skin or other smooth leathers with scratches. Definitely a luxury brand. To me, some designers, patent can feel extremely plastic/vinyl, but Ysl feels really good. The leather of the Saint Laurent wallet on chain purse is a pebbled textured caviar leather that feels sturdy, and is very easy to wipe clean. I take this bag everywhere and have had a few mishaps with food and drink, but thankfully everything has wiped right off.Both the croc and smooth leather versions are great options, but the croc one will put you around 00. It’s a gorgeous bag and I love mine. I’d also highly recommend the Kate also in the medium size, it’s a few hundred dollars cheaper so you could get a match wallet if you wanted too also and still be around budget.
