I bought her a beautiful alligator strap from Hadley Roma for around 0. Re an overhaul, if its been more than 10 years since it was done its probably due. Currently it has a brown leather-esque strap on it & I quite frankly hate it. I'm pretty much open to everything but over the top leather straps, nato (Just because I don't think it looks good on it, i love natos though.) Also where do you guys get replacement oyster bracelets besides actual rolex bracelets? thanks!!

It is a great bit of design and engineering that allows you to readily change the expendable leather bits out without much inconvenience the same way you change any . I searched online for some time and found a saffiano leather strap from a Belgian manufacturer - Molequin. Everything went very quickly, ordering, payment and delivery. The replacement itself, thanks to the Bergeon 7825 bracelet removal device, was completely stress-free (without any losses) and took me 3 minutes. I've switched over to a Sinn 856 UTC w/ leather strap for my "office" watch-- the tegimented steel is supposedly 5X times harder than a Rolex casing, and from the past several years of abuse, I absolutely believe it. Banging it around on the left or right seat makes no difference to the watch-- it looks like the day it came out of the box.
You can get a beautiful strap for 20 bucks or 300. The Buffalo leather strap on the 16030 with Roman dial was a 20 dollar strap about 15 years ago. The black Croc on the TOG was 160 a similar number of years ago. You can get many years out of leather, just avoid sweating like a pig while wearing them. :)
